I started drinking when I was 14. I had made it to 17 and in my junior year of high school with just drinking and not using drugs. But I tried marijuana for the first time on December 31, 1971.

From Addiction to a Caring, Loving, and Nurturing Mother: My Story
On May 14, 2021, I became a graduate of the Narconon Suncoast Program. On May 15, 2021, I got to fly back to Ohio and be reunited with my family. Meeting me at the airport were my biggest cheerleaders—my mom, dad, and my two boys. I was greeted with big smiles and the biggest hugs. I was not the only one that was affected by my addiction—my whole family was.
The Journey that Changed My Life
Golden opportunities sometimes come to us in the moments we need them most. It is up to us to take advantage of these opportunities and make the most of them. This opportunity, the chance to truly change my life and to be free from my addiction to drugs and alcohol, was found at Narconon Suncoast.
