Now I can think clearly again. I don’t doubt myself, or think of how bad of a person I am. I know I’ll get my career going, I know I’ll stay clean, I know I will be the father I truly am, not the distant father I had been for a couple years now.

I am so happy that I completed this program. I feel happy, positive, and like myself again. When I go home, I am looking forward to living a drug-free life and finding success in my work. I look forward to gaining trust back from the people I need in my life and from the people I hurt when I was using.

When I was thirteen all I ever wanted to be was a touring musician and live my life on the road. I had the most supportive family I could ask for regarding me pursuing my dream. I come from a family of musicians, my father was the singer in a hair metal band and my mother sang in the choir for high school and college, so naturally, I was born to play music and I wanted to take it as far as I possibly could.
