Before I started using drugs, I had my own business, went to church, and strived to live life to the best of my ability. However, I was introduced to meth and acid (LSD) and started drinking heavily. Slowly my relationship with my family started to tumble. I stopped going to family reunions and gatherings. I stopped helping them when they needed help because I was too busy getting high.

I lost lots of jobs and couldn’t make my payments. I had to sell my trucks and many other things just to provide for my habits. Then a friend told me about Narconon. At first, I was unsure, but when I lost my project manager job, I decided it was time to go get help.

When I arrived, the staff were very friendly. I felt like everyone I talked to understood what I was going through, and it made me feel comfortable. The sauna did a lot of good for me. I realized a lot of things about myself, such as who I was and what triggered me into using, and what irritated me. I learned to deal with my emotions. I learned how to control and manage my anger in Objectives. Life Skills taught me how to do better in life, and I learned what to do when I am having a bad day or stressed out.

“I feel happy, positive, and like myself again.”

I am so happy that I completed this program. I feel happy, positive, and like myself again. When I go home, I am looking forward to living a drug-free life and finding success in my work.

I look forward to gaining trust back from the people I need in my life and from the people I hurt when I was using.

To all the staff here, I just want to say thank you for helping me through this program and for all the time you spent talking to me and explaining things to me. Can’t wait to live this new life!
