I started drinking when I was 14. I had made it to 17 and in my junior year of high school with just drinking and not using drugs. But I tried marijuana for the first time on December 31, 1971.

I am so excited to go home and start this next chapter of my life, sober! I am also super stoked to be a grandma! The staff and all my new friends here are amazing people. I am grateful and blessed to have gotten the opportunity to come here and graduate from this program.

Being clean and sober and reconnecting with the person I once was has been an enlightening and fulfilling experience, one I could have never had from any high or drug nor from the consumption of alcohol. This program saved my life, and I have so much less stress because of it. Only an addict can know the unneeded amounts of stress and the worrying that drug abuse can cause, and I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders…

When I came to Narconon, I was in bad shape, both physically and mentally. After completing the withdrawal part of the program, I began to feel better. That is when I did the Sauna, where each day I started feeling better and better and more like myself again…
