My Life Was in Complete Turmoil

narconon suncoast success story

When I first came to Narconon Suncoast my life was in complete turmoil. I had made decisions in my life that I never thought I would make and I caused the people in my life a lot of problems, upset, and pain.

When I came to Narconon, I was scared and not sure what to expect or where my life was going to go from here. But then my sauna detoxification experience made me feel truly amazing! It was the first time in thirteen years that I had my energy back. It felt amazing to rid the toxins from my body.

When I started Objectives, I did not understand what “wins” and “gains” I was going to get from it. Halfway through, I was starting to realize a lot of things I needed to change about myself. As I approached the end of Objectives, I had gained patience, and I had taken responsibility for everything I had done to my family, friends and myself. I learned that I do not always have to be the best at everything, all of the time. I’ve learned how to be selfless. I have learned how to be less temperamental towards others. I’m now able to reason with others and see their viewpoints without shutting them down immediately.

When I got to the Life Skills course, it taught me the types of people to surround myself with and also who to disconnect from. Mending my relationships with my family through this last step was what I needed to really move on.

Looking back at my time at Narconon, I am so thankful for my mom and dad and everyone who has continually stood by me throughout this cycle. The staff at Narconon are truly amazing people and I would not have been able to get through this without each one of them. It takes an army of people just to help one person get their life back on track and I am forever thankful to have been able to have this experience.
