From Jail to a New Beginning with a Fresh Start at Life
I came to Narconon Suncoast on December 10th, 2019 after being released on bond from jail in which I spent 73 days. I heard a little bit about the program on the phone and it seemed interesting and I was eager to do the new life detoxification program.

When I got here, I was put in the drug-free withdrawal part of the program where I spent seven days and learned the drills to help me with the rest of the program. I was also put on a daily vitamin pack which immediately helped me start feeling better. After withdrawal, I went into the sauna and spent 28 days flushing all traces of drugs that were left in my body from almost 25 years of previous drug and alcohol abuse. Midway through the sauna, I could tell I felt like a whole new person. By the end of the sauna, I felt so good it's hard to even put into words. I felt as if I got a whole new beginning in life. I was able to focus, and I looked overall in excellent health and felt like a whole new person.
After the sauna detox, came the objectives part of the program. It was not easy but well worth it. After completing objectives, I felt very calm and more patient. I was able to stay in present time which was able to help me out of my past mistakes and bad situations.
Life skills came next. It was hard but necessary. It helped me to take a deep look at myself and all the wrongs I’ve done not only to others but to myself as well. One of the hardest things you can do is sit there and write down some of the horrible things you've done while on drugs and alcohol. However, it has helped me to let go of the past and move on while not having to live like that anymore.
The entire staff here is excellent, well-trained, and just all-around good people. It is very comforting to know that you have staff around you that have been in the exact same situation and know how to help us through it. Thank you to all the Narconon Suncoast team.
