Success That Lasts a Lifetime

In a world full of drug addiction, poverty, war, stress, and overconsumption, it’s easy to get lost in the chaos and lose hope for a utopian world where everyone is happy, no one is addicted to drugs, all people are treated equally and fairly, war is a thing of the past, and peace is the underlying theme.

While we live in somewhat dismal times with a drug crisis that’s beyond out-of-control, there are successes that happen. Battles are won every day. Families are healed and addicts are saved. Instead of paying attention to all the bad in the world, it’s time we looked for the silver lining in everything.

Bad news abounds every day and good news can be hard to find, however, on a 4-acre property in Clearwater, Florida, good news flows daily as lives are salvaged and hope is restored. Through Narconon Suncoast’s long-term, non-12-step rehabilitation program, addicts are freed from their physical addictions to drugs and are then helped to put the pieces of their lives back together while finding answers to the question “why did this happen?

Here are two recent success stories:

Thanks for Giving Us Our Dad Back!

Narconon Suncoast success story

“There have been lots of wins since my return home. There’s been emotional insecurity and anxiety not to let anyone down. There have been arguments in the mirror coping with my new-found existence. Golf—while I’m still passionate about it, has become a different game without the over-drinking. The impulse to play is there but I find myself with groups of seniors that are only drinking water because it’s still free.

“However, tonight after a long day of work, after-school projects and dance practice, when cleaning up the pizza dinner (because that’s all time allowed for) I grabbed the trash to take it to the curb and it hit me! Because of Narconon Suncoast, I was home where I belong—and it’s a long way from where I was before making that call. It was life-changing for every one of us in this home!”

Life after Narconon…

Narconon Suncoast success story

“Honestly it’s hard for me to find the words to explain just how amazing my life is these days.

“I get to be free of all the demons that were dragging me down. I get to show up and spend time with my family. I believe in myself and see so much for my future. I don’t crave drugs or see drugs as a solution anymore when I’m having a “bad” day.

“I’ve had blessings and opportunities I only used to dream of. I actually get to experience life and smile and feel real happiness.

“It took me so long to see the love and support I have around me but I’m so grateful I didn’t die before I got to see it and feel it. No matter where life takes me, you’ll find me with a smile, I never thought life would be this sweet. It’s got me cheesin’ from cheek to cheek!”
