After years of alcohol abuse,
Veronica was able to face her life
in a way she never could before.

By doing the Life Skills Courses I was able to analyze the people in my life that I was connected with. I realized who the people are that want me to do well and I realized who are the people that want to bring me down. I was able to admit to my responsibilities for my actions toward the people that love me and that gave me a lot of relief.

Sometimes I didn’t admit to things I did wrong during my addiction. I was able to write letters, speak to my family and handle my relationships. I believe those I directly hurt needed to hear me say I am sorry and acknowledge their pain throughout these years.

I am very glad I completed this part of my program. It feels rejuvenating to handle my relationships, know who are the good people in my life and I finally have a chance to move forward.
