Nothing Can Stop Me Now!

A big part of the Narconon program is the battery of life skills courses. Not only do these courses teach a person how to live life free of drugs and alcohol but they also help them to put the pieces of their life back together that have been destroyed by their addiction. These courses help the addict or alcoholic to increase their level of responsibility for the past and finally be able to move forward.

One of the life skills courses, Narconon’s Ups and Downs in Life course, teaches an addict or alcoholic how to determine who are the constructive, positive people in their lives and who are the ones that have a negative influence on them. This course helps them to examine every person they have been connected to and teaches them how to properly handle each personality.

Here is a recent success story from this course:

nothing will stop me!

“I did not expect to derive as much from this course as I did. I had an amazing realization when I examined my ex-girlfriend in terms of social and anti-social characteristics. I had previously demonized her and blamed her for my drinking. When I did an honest appraisal of her personality characteristics I realized that she really wasn’t a “bad person.”

This has helped me to see more clearly the REAL reasons I was drinking. I now feel that I was being very superficial and immature in blaming her. I realize that my drinking was MY OWN responsibility and choice.

This has been a huge eye-opener and win for me!”
