I Feel Like a Brand-New Person!
My life growing up was a typical middle-class family. It was me, my mom and dad, and my little sister. We had a house and both parents had good-paying jobs. I started out in parochial school and went to public high school after that. I was involved in playing football, basketball, and big into weightlifting. I continued with my education a short time after high school but decided to drop out and focus on making money.
I started partying, drinking, smoking weed, and sniffing cocaine. At first, it started out as something I did to be sociable, but as the years progressed it got worse and worse. I went through many good jobs in my life, mainly getting let go from them due to my attendance. I would be out partying and staying up all night, frequently calling into work. Obviously, this began to negatively impact my job performance and attendance. I finally thought to myself, “Ok I need to get help.” I went to a 12-step program and was clean and sober for about 6 months. Once again, I started to drink and dabble in cocaine. After about 4 years of doing that, I was back in the same boat.
After losing a couple more jobs, I actually landed a really good job. However, my habits did not stop for the job. I continued to drink and use and started calling in again. I got to a part of the discipline process just before termination. I came clean and told my employer that I had a problem. They were very supportive and told me to take as much time as I needed to get help and that my job would be there for me when I got back.
My mom told me about Narconon who she had been in touch with, so I called. When I came here, scared and wondering what to expect, I was surprised. The staff was so welcoming and supportive. I have never felt so welcomed. I want to point out that a big reason I chose Narconon was the New Life Detoxification part of the program. After completing it I felt amazing. Everything negative felt like it came out of me, including bad energy. It was somehow replaced by good energy.
I went through some difficulties during my program that involved things back home, including financials and my leave from work, but the staff here at Narconon Suncoast went above and beyond to help me solve any issue I had so I could focus on my program. That made me realize that things would be ok and that the staff truly was here to help me.

I feel like a brand-new person leaving this program. I have met some great people here that I consider friends. I feel healthier, my skin is softer and clearer, my mind is sharper, and overall, I feel great. I am ready to go back to my job and tell my boss thank you. I am looking forward to going back to work with this new mindset and knowing I will be living my life in a clean state of mind. I highly recommend Narconon Suncoast to those who are in a struggle. You can once again become the person you were meant to be, just as I have.
