Before using drugs, my outlook on life was bright, positive, and happy. I was full of life and always looked forward to what life had in store for me. My addiction started with social drinking out with friends, and this eventually led to drug use. As my tolerance increased, the more I got into harder drugs.

It completely cut me off from reality. Drugs were the first thought in the morning and the last thought before bed. It completely took over my mind, body, and spirit. I lost jobs, my children, my family, and my friends, but in the moment my mind was too cloudy to recognize.

Finally, my family and others had enough of my lying, deceitful behavior. My family cut me off entirely and the guilt was eating me alive. I came clean about my using. I found Narconon through a friend and spoke to the staff. I came in voluntarily the next day.

At first, I was terrified and felt extremely out of place. This is the first rehab I have ever been to. The staff and students accepted me with open arms. I finally felt safe, and this remained the case throughout the entirety of my program.

“I can proudly say for the first time since I was 14 years old, I am completely drug and alcohol free.”

From withdrawal clearing my system out, to Sauna and ridding all the toxins from my body to objectives and Life Skills preparing me for my new drug-free life, I can proudly say for the first time since I was 14 years old, I am completely drug and alcohol free. I feel extremely accomplished and am beyond grateful for the Narconon family.
