No Longer Afraid
I arrived at Narconon, an afraid, broken drug addict, a mother of two who lost her way. I checked myself into rehab while my sister took care of my children. On April 6th, 2022 my sister took me to Narconon. I was so messed up from no sleep, I was drunk, high and not in my right mind… I didn’t even remember the last time I ate. I was terrified when I pulled up to the gate, when staff came up to welcome me, I surrendered. When I got thru intake, the nurse made sure I got food in me, took a shower and went to bed.
I woke up to a withdrawal specialist and a warm meal, and a hot shower. After doing the regimen provided to me, I felt so much better. In withdraw after beginning to confront my problems and working on just being there comfortably, I felt very grounded. I then moved on to the sauna New Life Detox. I did 33 days in the sauna and got the drug residues out of my body, ate well, started exercising and had a daily schedule.
I moved on to Objectives and had a great partner, Narconon calls them twins, who ran me thru the unique Narconon processes with patience and understanding. I got over things that were affecting me and cast them away, so they were no longer bringing me down. It made me feel so much better, I learned to be aware of my environment, to be in the moment and to control my body.
I moved into Life Skills and learned about toxic influences in my life and the positive ones. I started being responsible for my actions and confronting my issues. I repaired the healthy relationships I had broken and wrote down all the things I did to harm those relationships.

Now that I have completed the program, I am a responsible and reliable person.
