I graduated Narconon Suncoast in October of 2021. During the first few months of being sober I was able to reconnect with my family, which I expected, but most importantly and surprisingly I was able to reconnect with my true self. It’s kind of like when you’re learning how to ride a bike. It’s one of the most exciting things possible for me, learning more and more about myself every day.

While it is very exciting, it can also be difficult at first. This is why I feel it is so important to have the great support system that I have and that I can lean on. That is one of the things I am most grateful for, having people who truly care about me and want to see me win in life.

I am so happy about the little things in life that I didn’t get to truly experience when I was on drugs, such as watching movies with my sister, listening to new types of music, going on car rides with friends, and my most favorite, going to the beach. While these all may sound like little things people do every day, now I am able to fully enjoy every moment.

“I see life from a different viewpoint now, and although it can be difficult at times, I wouldn’t trade all the good experiences
for anything.”

I see life from a different viewpoint now, and although it can be difficult at times, I wouldn’t trade all the good experiences for anything. I am so excited and overjoyed to see what the New Year has in store for me! I have no doubt that this new year will be another wonderful journey for me!
