This Program Saved My Life!

I had been using drugs and alcohol most of my life, 20 plus years in fact. Typically, and truthfully, I have no real recollection of the person I was before I was using. What I do know, however, is that being clean and sober and reconnecting with the person I once was has been an enlightening and fulfilling experience, one I could have never had from any high or drug nor from the consumption of alcohol. I have Narconon Suncoast and their wonderful, supportive, staff to thank for this newfound freedom.

This program and the staff have helped give me the tools and support needed to point me in the right direction to sustain my sobriety. I have been given both the information and training needed to more effectively assess situations with a clear and present mind and make better and more constructive decisions. Up to the point of entry into this program, I had made some very poor choices that have negatively affected my life. The impact these choices have made affected my relationships with my family and friends, my employment opportunities to further my career, and had completely dwindled my health almost to the point of no return.

Having already overdosed to the point of death and coming very close to death a second time that included endocarditis and temporary paralysis in my ligaments, I thought for sure my time on Earth was near its end. I no longer saw any light at the end of the tunnel of my addiction. That is until I found Narconon Suncoast. With hard work and determination, I was able to overcome my obstacles and achieve some very worthwhile goals to better my life.

Finding Narconon was literally a Godsend. I was able to make one phone call and immediately get the ball rolling. Within two days I was enrolled in the program and my path to sobriety had started. The Narconon staff was wonderful. I met two smiling faces who picked me up at the hospital I was residing at after my scare. They brought me straight to the facility to begin my treatment. From the second I arrived, I felt right at home. The staff was extremely kind and caring, even supplying me with a wheelchair until I got the strength back in my legs to walk around. While I was a bit skeptical at first, this was a new kind of treatment for me, I knew I needed the help. This was the first decision in a long while that actually made sense and could help me get back on my feet.

The first few weeks were tough and there were times I wanted to give up, but I was able to keep focusing on the good that could come out of this program and I knew it was an absolute necessity to my survival. The Narconon Program has been a great experience for me and has saved my life. Without this program, I do not know where I would be, but I am confident I would not be in such a positive and healthy state, both mentally and physically, as I am right now. Every aspect of this program has been beneficial to me from start to finish. Through exercises that were difficult to understand at first, I had eye-opening experiences and realizations that helped me to understand where the conflicts of my addiction came from. I was able to confidently confront these conflicts and be aware of how to handle any of them that may arise in my future.

“If my story of accomplishing these goals can one day also help others accomplish these same goals, that will be my ultimate success story.”

With the positive state of consciousness that I have developed, I have complete confidence in myself to stick to my strong morals and principles and am looking forward to a completely happy and sober life moving forward. If my story of accomplishing these goals can one day also help others accomplish these same goals, that will be my ultimate success story. Thank you Narconon Suncoast for everything you have done for me and my family.
