"Never Looked Back"
About the age of 18, I had what people would consider a successful life - really good employment, owned my home at a very young age.
But underneath I was addicted to opiates, alcohol and Xanax.
It progressed to a point where I no longer had one shred of control. I would be gone for days, my mother didn't know where I was at. You know, she would come to my house and it was like, she just wanted to know if I was alive.
Drugs had just pulled every ounce of life out of me. I'm six-foot-one, I weighed 112 pounds.
I was so unhealthy that as I would stand up, my blood pressure would drop and I would pass out.
I ended up in the hospital three times for detox. I was on drugs the entire time. And leaving the facility all three times, I used or relapsed within an hour of leaving. My parents intervened, luckily. I ended up at Narconon.
Once I completed my sauna program, I could lay down and fall sleep within 4 or 5 minutes, not having a racing mind. The aches and pains in my legs and back were gone.
When I completed the program and I walked up to get my certification for graduation, I was grinning ear to ear. My parents were proud that I had done it. And I knew was okay.
It's been 2 1/2 years and I've been clean of all substances, out of my system.
I've never looked back.
