This Program Produces Dramatic Results!

interns success

We entered our internship at Narconon Suncoast with very limited knowledge of the treatment center. Our professor and Human Services Director at St Petersburg College suggested we expose ourselves to alternative recovery avenues and we gladly accepted. Keeping open minds, we enthusiastically began observing, participating, and studying the program course that each student works through. Right from the very start, we agreed that the Narconon Suncoast program was positive, and helping people change their lives.

Our observation, as well as our interaction with students, combined with our increased knowledge and understanding of the program, we began to see some dramatic results. Students arriving at the center, visually beaten up by substance abuse, were smiling, standing tall, and carrying themselves with confidence. The witnessing of an obvious change; physically, mentally, and emotionally was miraculous. Students once reserved and introverted, were involved in their recovery, focusing on becoming better people, and productive members of society. To see this process unfold before our eyes has been a phenomenal experience.

We both agree that the sauna part of the process was most impressive. The idea of ridding the body completely of toxins, recent, as well as dormant for years, is highly effective, and made a lot of sense. This is where the change begins to become visible. Having completed the detoxification process, students start to work on themselves with a team of staff members that are not only knowledgeable, but compassionate, helpful, and empathetic. What a great group of people!

Students are encouraged to stay in the here and now with multiple drills applied throughout the stages of treatment. Students focus on themselves, identify harmful areas, make amends for wrongs, and learn numerous coping skills. The end result, as we have observed in every student, is a new person. There is no other description.

The facility is modern, comfortable, and laid back. It has beautiful, manicured grounds, and a positive vibe is felt throughout. We feel extremely fortunate for having been afforded this valuable opportunity. Thank you to all of the staff and students as well, who have made us feel welcome, and went out of their way to help us understand the Narconon Suncoast program. We have nothing but positive things to say about Narconon Suncoast, and are happy to have been a part of it. Lives are being restored, and that puts smiles on our faces. Thanks, and we are wishing Narconon Suncoast continued success.
