A recent government survey shows us that legalization of marijuana would cause low-risk students to take a puff. At Suncoast Rehabilitation Center, this information is even more alarming due to the number of clients we have who started their journey to addiction by smoking weed. 
This is not the only study which tells us that the recent legalization of marijuana has affected our national consciousness and perception of this addictive substance. Frequency of marijuana use has increased steadily since 2006 and Americans are trying marijuana at younger ages.
